This document is intended for GO Publisher WFS admin and end users.
GO Publisher WFS:
- Is a robust mechanism for data delivery via the web (intranet or internet).
- Is a translating web feature service, unique from other OGC Web Feature Services (most WFS on the market are not translating, they directly publish a source database model into a fixed schema).
- Provides real time, on-demand access to your data via internationally recognised ISO and OGC standards (OGC WFS1.0 and OGC WFS1.1).
- Enables you to publish from a source database model into any number of given application schema; therefore provides the ability to share data with a wide community.
Before using GO Publisher WFS, please ensure that your system meets the Minimum Hardware and Software Requirements.
Gain a deeper insight into web feature services by reading our Introduction to Web Feature Services which covers what is a WFS, versions of WFS, as well as the history behind OGC WFS specifications.
To support you with the administration and use of GO Publisher WFS we have developed the following:
GO Publisher WFS Administrators Guide - written for system administrator, it explains the steps of initial set up and subsequent WFS configuration.
GO Publisher WFS Users Guide - written for end users, it explains how to use the web feature services.
